LIANE

Recognizable by its graceful, soft silhouette, the Liane bag embodies the quintessential Parisian spirit so dear to Maison Pourchet. A veritable invitation to elegance and contemporaneity, this scarfed leather besace, available in three sizes, boasts a voluptuous shape punctuated by delicate details such as the couture-like piping and the signature brushed brass bar that illuminates the closing tab. Liane is also a double-handled hobo bag, supple and generous, with all the stylistic codes of the besace.

New for Spring 2024, Liane stands out for its assets and strong personality. Besace and hobo bag play on the contrasts between refined sophistication and functionality. Their lightness and spaciousness make them perfect for everyday use.

THE BRAND

Nestled beneath the arcades of Paris's Place des Vosges, Maison Pourchet's flagship boutique embodies the history of this iconic brand. Founded in 1903 by Auguste Gindre for his wife, the brand established itself from 1920 onwards under the impetus of their daughter, Marcelle, as a renowned manufacturer of leather bags. Under the leadership of Robert Pourchet in the 50s, innovation was at the heart of the company, introducing revolutionary techniques to leather goods manufacturing. The 60s saw the company's expansion and the creation of numerous it-bags, including the famous “Croco” bag and the Madison canvas of the 70s. Taken over in 2004, Maison Pourchet continues to reinvent itself, offering collections that skilfully blend tradition and modernity, while asserting an elegant and trendy Parisian style.
